Archie Jupiter Candycane Corn Snake, named for his beautiful ivory and crimson colouring, is a bonny boy. And all the more charming because of his quirks, which are many: his sentences are forever peppered with spoonerisms and malaprops; his hearing rife with mondegreens, and his actions full of folly.
Because everything Archie does is with such aplomb; such joie de vie; such finesse; when he fails, it is with equal gusto. It’s just that sometimes Archie gets a bit confused, and sometimes he looks a little silly when he does. Like the time he mistook a candycane for a Candycane Corn Snake and potential ladyfriend.
Archie is so comfortable in his own skin though, he doesn’t mind a bit. He simply chuckles along with everybody and finds the positive in his blunders. Of course, this just makes everyone around him even more comfortable in their skin, giving the freedom to take risks; to succeed; and, even better, to fail. Because often it is in our failures that we learn the most, grow the most, and find our true successes.
